ABOUT US!
A.R.V.S.S. is a volunteer run non-profit organization --501(c)(3)-- located in Stoughton (just outside of Madison) Wisconsin. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes where they are taught social skills and basic training. It is our goal to not only rescue animals, but to provide veterinary support for other rescues. Over the course of the next 12 months, we will be formulating our plans to meet that goal.

Do you have some extra time and room in your heart to foster for us? We are always looking for good homes to give our dogs and puppies a safe place to land in our rescue while we assess their health and behavior. Mission Statement:
Animal Rescue & Veterinary Support Services
is a nonprofit group committed to rescuing animals in need, supporting communities without access to shelters, and educating the public on humane issues. Our goal is to provide veterinary care to dog and cat rescues.
Goals:
- provide veterinary care to dog and cat rescue organizations in the south central Wisconsin area
- provide sheltering resources for those communities without access to humane organizations
- rescue dogs and cats from high-kill shelters in Wisconsin and around the United States
- increase community awareness of humane issues
- provide access to animal feed for families unable to afford adequate nutrition for their pets
ARVSS was founded by five dedicated volunteers in May, 2006: Katie Hoeppner, Ellen Thomford, Margaret Graves, Tracey Hageny and Tiffany Falch.
