Shelter From The Storm with help with food and supplies. If we have them, you are welcome to them! We will also look to you for insight to the animal's temperment, personality and special needs. You will assist us in the placement of the animal in a new home.

Your responsibilities will include: providing food, water, shelter, lots of love, rides to PETsMART on Saturdays for Adoption Days and rides to the vet clinic for any medical reasons including spay or neuter.

We will offer any help you might need. Our adoption rate is high, so the commitment to foster we hope will not be a burden, but a fun experience for you and your entire family.

Foster homes are essential for our rescue. Every new foster home allows us to rescue one more animal. Every animal that finds a Forever Home allows us tosave one more life!

Volunteer Application

Volunteering at PETsMART
We are at PETsMART every Saturday form 10 until 2. We need volunteers to help with set up at 8:30 am, people to help with the dogs and cats between 10 and 2, and people to help with breakdown (clean up) from 2-2:30 p.m. Talk to us if you have children who may be interested in helping too!

Volunteering for the Transport of Animals:
We need help with the transport of animals for shelters around the state and out of state to our rescue. We also need help with transport to vet appointments and to foster homes. It is a fun way to volunteer when needed and help some needy animals get to a safe place.

Helping With Fundraisers:
We can use experienced and not-so-experienced people to help organize and run fundraisers. All the money raised will be used to fund our medial expenses. If you have experience running and planning fundraisers and have a little extra time we can use your help! If you just have an able body and mind and willing to jump in to help, we can use you too!

Sponsoring an Animal or Litter of Animals
If your time is short and yet you still feel compelled to help with our cause you can sponsor an animal. Your donation of $50 for a cat or $75 for a dog will help cover medical bills (spay or neuter, vaccinations, heartworm test and meds, felv/FIV test for cats etc....)
