I just wanted to pass along that Diamond (now known as Abby) is doing well and adjusting to her new name picked out by our 4 year old. My kids LOVE her and she is starting to warm up to my husband. --Kim

We just wanted to let you know that Sly (Sylvester) is doing great! He is such a neat dog. He loves chilling out anywhere - at home, in the car, at work. And he is a great walking companion. I took Sly to work with me yesterday (and will do so 2-3 days per week). This photo is what he did most of the day. We want to thank you for providing your rescue services, for doing such a good job fostering him, and for allowing us to take Sly home to be a part of our family. -- Linda, Don and Thomas

Ace now has a new name of Seth, and is greatly enjoying sharing his life with us and his new "brother" and "sister"! He's always the first one up in the morning, and loves to make sure that everyone else is up with him to play and have a good time. Thank you so much for providing us with this great addition to our family! --Alex P and Andy Z

We adopted Buddy on June 6, 2009. Buddy has since been renamed Max. He already recognizes his new name and is blossoming into a wonderful pet. We were told his chow tail might never curl up properly, and we are happy to report it already has! -- Lori

Vang (formerly Amaretto) and Felix shared a crate together at SFTS and now share a home with us. They love chasing each other up and down the hallway, napping together, and reading (or rather resting on) my textbooks. Felix gives the best massages with his kneading paws and always enjoys a little belly rub in the morning. Vang loves playing with his toy mice and is as loyal as can be, always hanging out nearby. It has been such a pleasure having them in our lives. - Kong & Nira

We adopted Jack in March 09 and can't imagine our lives without him. He is a good boy and so smart. He is always ready to play or learn or just nap and cuddle. Everyone who meets Jack, just falls in love with him too. We are lucky to have him in our lives. This is a picture of "Cool Jack" coming home from camping!! --Jill

Last night I slept on the other pillow so close to Karen & Random the Cat that they wound up with just a little slice of bed, right on the edge. Huh! I rule! -- Bandit

Thank you for the wonderful addition of Teddy to our family! He is so sweet and fun. As with any puppy, we've found that wearing him out during the day is the key to a more peaceful evening. --Jan

Norbert is now living in luxury with lots of love and treats (and treats, and treats . . . oh, boy does he love treats!) and will continue this life for a long, long time! He is signed up for classes at our local PetSmart (gotta channel his exuberance). He plays hard and sleeps hard. Shown here on my wife Tammy's lap, drifting off to sleep. Just too darned cute. We're very grateful for the work all of you do at Shelter From The Storm. We can tell you folks have a very well-run operation and care deeply for the animals we saw at PetsSmart. It was an extremely pleasant experience for us (Norbert would agree)! -- Mike
