We have had Luigi since Halloween weekend, where he stole our hearts. Luigi was a very skinny, small, sad little dog that was looking for a home. We gladly welcomed him into ours. He is loved by everyone we know and spoiled by his grandparents. Luigi has finally grown his hair out, and put on some weight for the winter months ahead. He recently started to play with other dogs, and loves to play with his mini tennis ball. Luigi has become a social butterfly, a great shopping buddy, and an even better snuggler. We cannot thank Shelter from the Storm enough, Weegie, as he is often referred to as, has really blossomed into a wonderful companion. -- Angela H.

Hello! We'd like to submit a "Happily Ever After" picture for Fred (the Beagle/Basset Hound mix) with his new cat brothers, Dante and Bailey. Thanks! --Mel F.

We are so happy to have Milo (previously known as Hyde) as part of our family! He is the snuggliest little kitty we've ever met, though sometimes he likes to try to sleep right on our faces. He charms every person who comes into our home by curling up in their lap within ten minutes of their arrival. He entertains us endlessly with his dive-bombing and ninja-like acrobatic skills. Thank you so much to Shelter from the Storm for everything you do and for helping us meet Milo! We love his cute orange face! -- Chelsea and Audun R.

Hi!! We thought we'd send a quick update on a dog we adopted from SFTS almost 2.5 years ago. Buster is doing awesome.... Spending his time alternating between playing with his tennis ball & sleeping on the couch. He continues to have some minor issues with his skin and ears, but nothing that some lotions and special ear cleaner can't keep up with. He's been a great addition to the family!! -- Erin M.

Bailey (aka Simon) has been in his forever home almost 2 years now. We just wanted you guys to know that he has settled in fabulously! At first he got a little nervous when we left him home alone, but we couldn't blame him. He's so smart and always keeps us laughing. He was the best-man in our wedding and everyone was so impressed with how well he behaved. He also got to come along on the honeymoon. He enjoys going out by his new mom's horse. There are lots of things to smell and chase out there. He gets along great with our 2 cats. He loves squeezing in-between mom and dad in bed at night. We can't imagine life without him and we are so grateful to you for saving him. We think he was meant just for us! -- Kathryn

Another great addition to our family, Penny! She loves to snuggle, and chase her big brother, Albert, around the house. She is defiantly a Momma's girl. She is a lovable kitten that will just melt your heart every time you pick her up. -- Jenna L.

Hello, We adopted Gomer in October of 2009 (Bassett/Beagle Mix). We stopped into Petsmart to buy a fish, saw Mr. Gomer amongst your dogs, and instantly fell in love. We cannot imagine life without him now! He is doing great! He loves long walks in the woods sniffing out trails. He's gained about 7 pounds after we adopted him (my fault! I spoil!) but he has lost 5 since then. Each and every day I am so grateful for Gomer in my life. I hope whoever took care of Gomer knows that they did an amazing job! We recently had to write a short blip about our pets with photos for work, so I thought I would forward it to you guys so you can see what Gomer has been up to! Thanks again! -- Katie C. and Andrew H.

"Chuckles" Formerly Sam - his full name is "Charles Samuel (The Bear) Bloodgood" When I saw Sam (Chuckles) at Petsmart it was love at first sight. He is the cutest and most snuggly dog in the whole wide world. Thank you SFTS! -- Grace B.

Just dropping a note to let you all know how well she is doing! She loves playing with her new toys and going for walks. Thank you so much for making us aware of her-she has brightened our lives so much! Tracy S. and Dean Z. :).
