Meet The Foster Dogs
Fiona
Five year old Fiona was kept in the garage. (Come on people! Garages are for cars!!).
When she developed bladder stones, she was put up on Craigslist.
After she recuperates from her surgery, we hope to find a good home for
this tiny whirlwind.
Louie
Louie was given up to a local SPCA because his owner couldn't "physically or financially
handle him". The SPCA called TBFR. This horribly abused dog is extremely intelligent, loyal
and loving -- to only one person. His extreme fear and distrust of people has resulted
in a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde personality. He is not a candidate for adoption but has found sanctuary
in rescue and will live out his life at White Dog Cottage.

Sean
Sean has spent almost his entire life in an Elizabethan collar
in order to keep him from inflicting wounds on himself from
biting, licking and scratching. Sean is now seeing a veterinary
dermatologist which is expensive but necessary to his health
and quality of life. Until his allergies can be identified
and either eliminated or controlled, Sean will stay here at
White Dog Cottage.
Taylor
Taylor's owners divorced and 14 year old Taylor was sent to
rescue.
She has allergies and skin issues. She is thin and frail,
but alert, and her hearing
and sight are sharp. With your support, she will spend her
sunset
years here at White Dog Cottage.

Max
Teensy Max came to rescue via animal control. His owner was
going into a nursing home. She said Max was 5 yrs old but
after thinking it over, thought he might be 19. (He is probably
is at least 17 or 18 yrs old). Max only has one eye but his
owner couldn't remember what happened to the other eye. Since
coming to rescue, Max's cornea in the "good" eye has ruptured
and he is blind. He still manages to go in and out of the
doggie door and explore the backyard. He loves his meals and
a good snooze in a warm doggie bed (or better yet in his foster
mom's bed). Max is a permanent resident of White Dog Cottage
and will be loved and cared for through his golden years.
Dawson
Dawson, the 30 lb. "gentle giant" was dropped off
at an SPCA when his elderly owner had to go live in a nursing
home. No one in that family wanted him. The SPCA seeing how
traumatized he was in their facility, called rescue. He knows
how to "speak" and catch treats in mid-air. He smiles
a lot and is very restful. His power naps are filled with
dreams of a loving home!

Rosie When seven month old Rosie came
to rescue she weighed less than 5 lbs. -- half of what she
should have weighed! Purchased at a local pet store by pathetic
excuses for human beings, she lived outside and was being
starved. Now at age two, she is extremely distrustful to most
people and is aggressive to other dogs. She feels safe and
is happy in rescue. She will always have a home at White Dog
Cottage should time prove that she is un-adoptable.
Frannie Frannie came to us when a veterinarian's
office called to ask us to take her into rescue. Her owner
had requested that she be euthanized as she was costing him
too much money. However, we feel there is more to the story,
a story that we will probably never know. Frannie has come
a long way during her stay in rescue. She is smart, strong-willed,
cute, and cuddly. Your generous donation helps to support
Frannie while she awaits that perfect, forever home!
