Fluffs who are surrendered to Bichon
Rescue are usually in need of vaccines and grooming are frequently
not spayed or neutered. We provide these needs and also get a full
physical, heartworm test, fecal culture, any needed tooth care ...
and treat any other physical maladies ... should they exist.
The cumulative cost of the above health care ranges
from about $30 for a basic physical examination ... to $$$ hundreds of
dollars for Bichons who have surgical requirements. The adoption donation
that we receive from an adoptive family very seldom covers the above costs.
Rescue groups must make up the deficit in order to continue taking dogs
into rescue. We need the help you can provide us ...
