Trap - Neuter- Vaccinate - Return Program for Feral Cat Colonies in Bedford County. Working to control feral cat populations with a no-kill philosophy. Educating the public on the facts of how to achieve successful co-habitation with feral cat colonies. Providing for a more humane future for our Feral friends. Bedford Humane Society volunteers presently maintain four TNR sites in Bedford County, the dumpster sites at: Otter River There are presently 25 dumpster sites in Bedford County, however, due to limited resources, BHS is currently only able to maintain the feral cat colonies at the above four sites. If you would like to help, please make a monetary donation to support TNR spay/neuter, or contact us about cat food donations, cat colony caretaker positions, or to learn about other ways to help.
Your donation of any size, is tax deductible, and could help a homeless dog or cat find a loving home. A financial statement is available from the State Office of Consumer Affairs in the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services upon request. All monetary donations are acknowledged in our Quarterly newsletter.
