Spike
Hi Linda,
We would have written to you sooner to tell you how Spike is doing,
but it's hard to find the words to describe how much he has given us.
Thank you for taking such good care of him, and for bringing him to
the pet store on Saturday mornings for people to see. When Spike settled
into my son's lap, they seemed to choose each other. After we brought
him home, he became a member of the family right away. My son thinks
of him as his little brother and Spike seems to look up to my son as
a big brother.
With an expressive face and quick wit, Spike communicates very well.
When my husband comes home from work and the family is all together,
Spike prances around with his ears and tail perked up to let us know
he is delighted to see the pack reunited again.
Spike cheers us up anytime we are in need of a smile. If my son gets
hurt or frustrated at something, Spike is always first responder, running
over to give him kisses or drop a dog toy beside him to make him feel
better.
He seems to like every human, dog, and cat that he has encountered.
He's smart, too. Our doggie training instructor called him "Genius
Dog" sometimes.
Thank you for rescuing Spike and encouraging his loving nature,
Lois, Sam, Sammy, and Spike
