Major GrayI adopted "Major Gray"..whose name is now PJ (Peanutbutter n jelly...my son is 8), any way, he has been quite the joy. He plays fetch, he hides and pounces, he plays "fight" with my son. We havent yet quite gotten the go to sleep at night thing down pat, but its getting better....yes I know kitty's have that night time prowl thing they do, but he acts like its 12 pm and we should all be up playing like he is..when its 2am.... He has gone on three trips with us to Lake Gaston, Virginia...not out doors, but he likes the birds in the windows, the lizards he has seen crawling on the porch at sunset. He is so much fun and I know my family (even my husband who was raised to love just the doggies...he loves him just as much!) He has a different relationship with each of us. With my younges, they rough house, pounce, and chase each other. With my middle son, he hides stuff, and teases him, with my daughter when she is home from college, he is lovey for just a few...what ever he feels is needed. With my husband, he is sometimey...loves him and yet wants to attatck his legs all at the same time. With me, he knows I feed him, change his litter, and keep him safe, and baby him. He will grace me with one, just one a day, little kitty kisses and wrap himself around my legs, and snuggle by me when I am in bed. He has been a wonderful addition to our family. |
