Duke

Hi there!

My husband and I were the lucky people that adopted Duke back in June. I wanted to write to you and let you know just how wonderfully he is doing. We consider ourselves blessed to have found him. He is such an amazing dog! We just fell in love with him when we first saw him and that love has grown each day we've had him.

He settled in quite nicely and appears to be the happiest dog on the planet! His little tail just wags all of the time. About 2 months after we adopted him we were able to put in an Invisible Fence and it has worked like a charm. We fenced in about 1.5 acres of yard and woods for Duke and he just loves running around sniffing at everything and playing in the yard with us. We have absolutely spoiled him rotten (he gets gourmet treats and has a toy box). His favorite things to play with have been his giant stuffed football (which lasted a long 2 months), his new stuffed bone and my husband's old shoes. He has been to the Vet a couple of times (for a routine checkup, his new rabies shot, his heartworm preventative refill and to have his nails clipped - boy he didn't like that last one!). We have found that he is incredibly healthy and such a happy, goofy dog. These trips to the vet are big adventures because he gets to stop by a small lake near the vets office and gets to run around and play like crazy and he even gets a McDonalds hamburger on the way home! :)

Thank you so much for suggesting him. We owe you BIG TIME! He is the best thing that's ever happened to my husband and me. He has become such a HUGE part of our family and brings us such joy each day.

Here are some current photos of our little baby boy:
