Capital Animal Care accepts -- both directly and indirectly -- stray and surrendered companion animals for placement in permanent homes. Upon receipt, animals are vetted, sterilized, and placed in foster homes or with rescue groups for adoption to qualified homes. We are delighted to know that we have placed many wonderful animals in deserving homes.

If you are interested in adopting one of our available pets, plese review our review our adoption policies and download an adoption application. Completed applications can be mailed as an attachment to adoptions@capitalanimalcare.org.

We are always looking for great foster homes -- if you'd like to spend some time with an animal but don't feel you can make a long-term committement right now, then fostering is perfect for you!
