Say Hello to Flynn

Flynn is a 2 year old, 10 pound, red miniature longhair male dachshund. He starts out a bit shy and reserved but quickly comes out of his shell - then it's everyone for themselves! When Flynn is awake it's like he's under the effects of a Starbuck's double shot espresso. Then when he's worn himself out he's the King of Naps!

Flynn is sweet and loving. He's not much of a barker but he is busy and curious and likes to explore the house and yard. Flynn has been taking lessons from Martha Stewart -- he helps (un)make the bed, (un)fold the clothes, (mis)match the socks, (re)arrange the rugs... Well, you get the picture.

Flynn would be perfectly happy being an only dog in a moderately active household. He would not do well in a home with children under 12, but he would enjoy having teenage playmates. He does get along well with his foster siblings, so Flynn would also do well in a home with moderately active dogs. Flynn also likes to snuggle in your lap and will gladly soak up all your attention.

Flynn does enjoy lounging around the house and being spoiled --- "I asked for a refill on my lemonade half an hour ago! What does a dog have to do to get good service around here?"

Flynn was found running loose on a busy road near a vet clinic. Fortunately, one of the vet techs took him in, but was unable to locate his owner. Flynn has been immunized, neutered, microchipped, and had a dental cleaning which included removing an infected tooth. He was also treated for some minor infections.
