Hurricane Katrina... it has been quite an experience for all. But more so for these two kittens. Meet Willow and Whisper. They came with their owners from New Orleans and were very tiny kittens at the time. They were staying in the local sports arena when the heat and stress finally got to them and they were turned over to a fellow rescue person. She brought them to me and what a mess!!!! They had very loose stools, a severe upper respiratory infection, ear mites, ringworm and badly infected eyes, and weighing in at only 1.3 and 1.5 lbs. Whisper is over her ordeal and ready for adoption. Willow is still having bad problems with one of her eyes. She desperately needs to see a specialist to see if her eye can be saved. The vet bills on these two are quite high and Willow needing even more money to try and save her sight in that one eye.
