Our adoption days are held at the PetSmart on DeZavala Road in San Antonio, TX, on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month (except Dec.) from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Adoption Applications
We ask for a minimum adoption donation of: $75.00 for cats & kittens and $95.00 for dogs and puppies.
This helps cover some of the cost of vet care needed for all animals before adoption.
All animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, treated for any parasites (external or internal), microchipped, and treated for any injuries or illness. Dogs are tested for heartworms and cats are tested for Feline Leukemia. Dogs are also put on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative. New adopters are required to keep dogs on heartworm preventative and flea/tick preventative.
All prospective owners will fill out an application and sign a contract. Our contract for cat adoptions prohibits declawing. Typical adoption process includes interview, vet reference, home check, and a follow-up visit. We pride ourselves in establishing open, ongoing relationships with our adoptive families.
We are looking for loving homes that will make their new pet a true member of the family. These are companion animals and must be treated as such to lead healthy, happy lives. We do not adopt out animals to be outdoor only. Our animals live in loving foster homes until they are adopted and learn to be house pets. We want their new homes to spoil them even more than their foster home did and give them all the love and attention they deserve.
Adopt a pet from us and get 1 month free of ShelterCare to cover any unexpected illnesses! After the free month of free coverage is over, you can choose to purchase a health insurance plan for your new pet or the coverage will automatically be cancelled. It couldn't be easier or safer!
