Click here to see the video of Lee Ann, Jay, Macellus and Bobbie staring on the episode which aired Sunday April 26th.

Kitten Season is Here!

Our "nurseries" are overflowing!  We have almost 30 kittens right now and the newest babies were born today, April 5th. These little babies below are about 6 weeks old and should be available the first week of May.

In the meantime, we have almost a dozen "mommies" that need homes as well.  We need to find homes for so many wonderful moms and babies!  If you have been thinking about adopting, the time is NOW!  Please visit us at the adoption center on Saturday or check out the wonderful ones we have for adoption on our website.

Help Needed for Gus!

Meet Gus. He was born to cuddle, play and be utterly adorable.

But he's had an awfully rough go of it lately. Recently, Gus went to get neutered, a delicate yet very simple procedure that rarely presents any complications. While Gus's blood work and physical exam showed him to be in excellent condition, his little body inexplicably reacted during surgery in a way that no vet or blood test could've predicted. Gus went into cardiac arrest. His heart stopped beating and he quit breathing. The vet and his team worked feverishly to revive Gus, performing CPR on his limp, lifeless body. After five tense minutes... a tiny heartbeat. He was back.

Literally back from the dead.

But his troubles were far from over. Because of the lack of oxygen to Gus's brain, he was now suffering from a number of neurological side effects, including blindness, deafness and the inability to walk (to name a few). These kinds of neurological disabilities can take considerable time to resolve.

We are so happy to report that Gus has made huge strides in his recovery, but he still has a ways to go. He's a truly special little guy with an unbreakable spirit. If anyone can make a full recovery, it's Gus "The Miracle Kitty"! If you would like to make a contribution to Gus's costly recuperation, we'd be enormously appreciative! And it would make a tremendous difference. Just click on the below donation button.
