Sponsor A Special Needs Pet!

Do you want to help but can't adopt or foster a new pet?  You can still make a huge difference in their lives by sponsoring a special needs cat or dog.  These are wonderful angels who may have special diet, medical or surgical needs.  By making a donation, you are helping them get the care they need to be healthy or get the life-saving treatments they need.

Brandi is being treated for heartworms.

Ashton needs a special diet.   Robert Redfurred needs surgery.

Come Meet the Kittens from Best Friends Animal Society

Our special guest have traveled almost 1400 miles to be here.  These two pair of "twins" came to Little Orphan Angels from Best Friends Animal Society in Kanab, UT where they were dumped as young kittens at their welcome center.  Joshua and Adamson are extremely outgoing, playful, loving and just plain adorable.  They little boys are about 4 months old and have had all their medical care completed.  The Cortez & Pizarro brothers are a little younger and a little bit more shy but they have adjusted quickly to their new foster home.  They too have had all their medical care completed.

We would like these kittens to be adopted as pairs and 1/2 of their adoption fee will be donated to Best Friends Animal Society to care for the hundreds of other cats there.  If you're the lucky family to adopt either of these two pairs, you will be adding some wonderful kittens to your home and they will shower you with love and entertainment for years.

Pet & People Portraits by Shelly Burden

Although she renders numerous subjects, Shelly is best known for achieving attention to detail graphite people and pet portraits or watercolor pet portraits. With her graphite portrait commissions (www.shellyburden.com) you have the pleasure of being a part of the process while watching your portrait come to life. But with Sassy Smudges painted pet miniatures you can relax while she prepares the final image. Why pet miniatures? To give collectors options. The price makes them attainable to keep or give as gifts and the size allows them to be shown together or individually on walls, desks or mantles. Even though painted on a smaller scale, these pet paintings show the same nuances and quality of workmanship as my larger commissions. Enjoy both sites!  A portion of each commission referred by LOA goes to helping us pay medical bills.
