German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue of North Texas is a 501(c)3non-profit that places abandoned GSPs in safe, loving homes. We are not a shelter, we are a foster home based rescue group. We rely on foster homes and your tax deductible donations to save as many GSPs as possible.
Unfortunately, at this time, GSP Rescue of N TX does not accept English Pointers or mixes.
Fundraising Event- Tues. August 26th
We will be having a fundraising dinner at Campania Pizza in Southlake Town Square (291 Grand Avenue, Southlake, TX 76092) on Tuesday, August 26th. Texas GSP Rescue will receive a portion of the nightly proceeds- so please join us and enjoy some great pizza and pasta!
Austin Adoption Event- TBA
We will be having an adoption event in Austin at the Petsmart on Slaughter and I-35 from 11am-2pm- NEXT DATE TBA. Please come out to support us and meet all the great Austin dogs! If you are interested in adopting that day, be sure to fill out an adoption application as early as possible before the event! An approved application will speed up the process on adoption day AND allow you take home a dog that same day, if the dog is a match for your family. Dogs most likely to attend the event:

Donate Your Extra Dog Supplies
