GSP Breed Information
We have provided a file which describes typical breed characteristics. We hope that you read this file to determine whether or not a German Shorthaired Pointer is the right dog for you and your family.
Owner Surrender
GSPRNTX only accepts owner surrenders when foster space is available. Shelter GSPs in danger of euthanasia must be our first priority. Please email us for more information and additional requirements before filling out the Owner Surrender form. Submission of the form does not guarantee acceptance of any GSP into GSPRNTX's rescue program. Once we agree to accept your dog into rescue, please review our Owner Surrender Guidelines.

Foster/ Volunteer Form
Please fill out this form and e-mail it back to us at gsp911tx@yahoo.com or fax it to us at 512-524-5648. You are able to choose which dog you foster and the dogs are fully vetted. We provide monthly HW medication - you provide a loving home and meals until a dog can find their forever home (or until you are no longer able to foster).
