Events at the Shelter or With the Shelter's Involvement
Special Notice:
 Winter is here and our events may be delayed, cancelled or planned last minute. Please check back here or call the shelter at 570-296-7654 with any questions. Also, the shelter is open from 12-3 on Tuesday through Friday and 12-4 Saturday and Sunday, and the public is always welcome to come in to see the animals, tour the facility, or just talk to the people who make the shelter run.

Also please remember that our Board Meetings are the 1st and 3rd Monday
of each month at the Biondo Building in Milford from 7:00 - 9:00.

OFF-SITE PET ADOPTION SCHEDULE


The PCHS along with Milford Chrysler on Routes 6/209 in Milford will be bringing you regular Pet Adoptions every month. On the first Saturday we will be a Milford Chrysler with pets for adoption. It will take place 10-4 each day (hours may change due to weather).

Milford Chrylser is sponsoring the event and graciously allowing us to bring our animals. If you don't know where our shelter is located or just have trouble getting to it, there will now be a centrally located, convenient alternate location.


Please Note: Since this is an outdoor event we will not be here during the winter months. Look for us to return in the Spring, weather permitting.

ADDITIONAL OFF-SITE ADOPTIONS




We are also teaming up with Country Kettle at 2523 Milford Road (Business Route 209) in East Stroudsburg for offsite adoption.

In addition to pet adoptions we will have sales of bargain merchandise from the Country Kettle closeout store
Our last adoption date was Saturday, December 13. Due to weather issues we will not be holding the even during January through March.

Tentative upcoming dates are 4/18, 5/16-5/17, 6/13-6/14, 7/18 - 7/19.

Valentines Day Dinner Dance, Saturday February 14th, 2009


Bring your sweetie for a nice evening out at the Matamoras Fire Hall in Matamoras, PA.

We will be having a ham dinner and live music. The cost is $10 for adults and $7 for children. Children under 5 are free.

The dinner will take place 5-9 with music until 10:00.

Nothing says lovin' like Valentine's Ham from the oven!

Walmart Bake Sale/Fundraiser - Saturday May 23, 2009


Please note: This will be at the Walmart in East Stroudsburg.

They have graciously allowed us to hold a fundraiser on that Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Hey, you're going to Walmart anyway, stop over and donate to help the animals.
