Poker Run - June 17, 2007
The shelter in conjunction with My Place Sales in Milford hosted a Poker Run and barbeque. We had over 60 riders, there were no accidents or incidents, and the run finished up at the shelter.

Pro Golf in Milford hosted this event using their state-of-the-art golf simulator, where entrants tried their luck on the famous 7th hole at Pebble Beach. We also brought pets for a pet adoption and had 7 animals adopted, including one cat by Pro Golf owners Charlie and Linda Sarrica.
Spring Craft Fair
In March we decided to try something different and host a craft fair. We provided the space and the volunteers, and vendors came from all around to sell their items. It was a juried craft show so we wouldn't get a lot of the same items. Not only did we have a decent fundraiser but feedback we got from both the customers and vendors were very positive.
