2012 Hoppin' Hounds Canine Easter Egg Hunt
Everyone had an eggcellent time at AFA's Hoppin' Hounds Canine Easter Egg Hunt, held Saturday, March 10th at B & D Creekside Activity Center in Latrobe! Dogs enjoyed sniffing
out great prizes hidden in eggs, parading in their easter bonnets, playing games and making new friends. We loved seeing so many AFA alumni at the event!

2011 Holiday Cash Bash
Our Holiday Cash Bash, held on Saturday, Nov. 5th at Huber Hall raised over $22,000 to care for the animals at our shelter. Many lucky attendees won cash and prizes, including
a Christmas Tree adorned with $500 Cash & 100 Lottery Tickets, Andre Rieu Concert Tickets and Penn State Club Seat Tickets.

2011 Walk for the Animals
AFA Board and Staff would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported the Walk for the Animals (held September 17, 2011 at Hempfield Park, Greensburg) with
sponsorships, pledges and donations. We had 160+ animal lovers out on a beautiful day to raise over $25,000 for the shelter animals!

2011 Auction for the Animals
The 8th annual Auction was held on May 13, 2011 at Greensburg's Four Points Sheraton. The event raised over $22,000 from unique donated items. We had a great turnout and many individuals and
businesses helped underwrite the costs incurred by AFA, contributing to the success of this annual event.

Our first Annual Canine Easter Egg Hunt was held on April 16, 2011 at Grapeville VFD Ballfield. We had many pups and people come out for the
hunt despite the treacherous weather. A few dogs were dressed in their Sunday best, ready to take on the Easter Eggs-travaganza!

2011 Spring Cash Bash
The Cash Bash was held on April 2, 2011 at Latrobe's Huber Hall. Our fun loving gamblers came to play and they knew how to win. In total, $13,500 was
raised for animal care. The gracious winners all donated some of their winnings back to AFA. Watch for the date of our next Cash Bash coming this fall.

2010 Halloween Cash Bash
Everyone who attended our Halloween Cash Bash on October 30, 2010 at Huber Hall, Latrobe enjoyed a night of spooktacular fun. And boy did we see some fantastic costumes!
One lucky person won the Grim Reaper covered in cash and lottery tickets. We netted, after expenses, $10,000 for the homeless animals at our shelter!

2010 Walk for the Animals
Nearly 200 animal lovers came out to support Action For Animals at the beautiful Hempfield Park on September 18, 2011. Our wonderful walkers raised over $26,000 for the shelter.
Congratulations to 1st place business team Tastyland! The Walk supports direct medical and surgical care for shelter animals.
