Jewel is about 5 1/2 years old. She was rescued (along with two of her pups) from a puppymill where she lived a life of hell in a small cage. She was given hormones to make her go into heat 3 and 4 times a year. She was probally stolen or given up in a "free" ad. |
| She must have been some one's pet before she ended up in the mill, because she has a scar on her back between her shoulders, right where the microchip her owners had put in for identification would go. Hers had been cut out. She is very friendly,social and loving. She needed to find a very loving, understanding home, because she was not fully housetrained. And that's just what she got. |
