Blondie is a real sweetheart, very friendly. She is well trained, completely housebroken and she loves to cuddle and play, especially 'fetch'. She loves kids and cats but not big dogs. She gets along okay with small dogs once she gets to know them.
Blondie had some small mammary tumors that were to be removed when she got spayed. The operation had to be postponed because she was found to be producing milk, apparently to feed some orphan kittens.
Boy! Were we surprised to learn that. She wasn't in heat and she hadn't had puppies. She just really loved her "mew" family.
Blondie's test results came back and we learned that one of the lumps was cancerous. It was only the size of a small bead, and the lab felt that it was contained and she would remain cancer free. But the people who were going to adopt her backed out when they heard about the results. Fortunately she has gone to another home where she will be monitored to be sure that it doesn't come back. Also the Vet feels now that she is spayed, she shouldn't have a recurrence. Here she is with her new Dad
