Our very
special R.E.A.S.O.N.S
Meet Bonnet

Bonnet Before Bonnet joined us
in October of 2004. An 8 year old registered thoroughbred mare, Bonnet came in
extremely underweight and malnourished. Her owners donated her because they were no longer able to keep horses on their property. They didn't see anything wrong with her condition and even stated that she was fat. Since arriving at R.E.A.S.O.N., Bonnet has put on quite a bit of weight, had proper farrier care for her tender feet
which require all 4 shoes and even some acupuncture and chiropractic treatments for her very sore back. She is now fully recovered.
Bonnet Now
Once
Bonnet was better, her personality came out. We found her to be very friendly
and quirky. She tends to like people and loves to lick your hand. She is a great
horse to ride. She's not a horse for a beginner because she has some pep out on
the trail though she is quite controllable. She actually loves to trail ride and
loves to trot. She also neck reins great. Bonnet
was adopted in May 2005. She now lives in a wonderful home in Dimick, PA. When
Theresa stopped by R.E.A.S.O.N and saw Bonnet it was love at first sight. She
had reminded her of a horse she once had and just had to adopt her. Now Bonnet
lives on a big open pasture with a few pasture buddies and plenty of grass to
graze on. We know she will be spoiled and she deserves it.
