Pets of the Week

** REMEMBER: BCHS offers a free vet exam with all adoptions.

Nicky

Nicky is an adult female Lab mix who came to the shelter as a stray from Wysox. She is a friendly and mellow dog who keeps her cage clean and is good on a leash. Nicky is calm and quiet and would make a good family pet. She does not like other dogs.

Alley

Alley is a 3 year old spayed female Terrier who was signed over by her owner because she doesn't get along with other dogs. According to her owner, Alley is good with kids, likes to ride in a car, has been kept inside, is playful and friendly and energetic. Her shots are up to date, and her vet records are available. Here at the shelter, we have found that Alley knows the command "sit" and will stand up and beg for treats. She keeps her cage clean and walks well on a leash.

Previous Pets of the Week:

Bruiser

Bruiser is a large and very friendly adult male cat. He is a big sweetie who gets along with everyone. Bruiser should be an only cat until a few months after he gets neutered, then he will be fine with other cats. Bruiser came to the shelter two months ago as a stray from Towanda.

Milo

Milo is a one year old male cat who came to the shelter as a stray from Athens in June. He is a very affectionate and mellow boy who would easily fit into a new home. Milo gets along great with other cats and loves people of all ages.

Robin

Robin is an adult male Shepherd mix who came to the shelter as a stray from Sugar Run. He is happy and friendly and very energetic. Robin is playful and loves chew toys, especially his Kong. He keeps his cage clean and should be easy to housetrain. Robin loves attention and would be a wonderful best friend for a child.

Biscuit

Biscuit is a young female cat who came to the shelter as a baby in May. Her two siblings were adopted in June and Biscuit has grown up at the shelter. She is our longest term shelter resident. Biscuit is friendly and playful, but not snuggly. She would probably be a good hunter. Biscuit gets along great with both cats and dogs. She would love to have a new home to explore and a family to play with.
