Tia
Tia is an 8 year old female American Staffordshire Terrier mix. She is is a calm and quiet sweetheart who is outgoing and gets along with everybody. Tia appears to be housetrained and barks to go out. She enjoys going for a walk and likes to play with a ball, but seems happiest inside with her blanket. She has visited students in elementary school and walked calmly up and down rows of young kids to be petted. Tia gets along with other dogs. She is a very nice girl who ready to be a great companion for some lucky family.
Snowball
Snowball is a super friendly and snuggly male kitten. He gives hugs, will sit on your shoulder, and can be held like a baby. Snowball has tested negative for feline leukemia and is all ready for a new home! His siblings Marshmallow and Spice have been adopted and his sister Autumn is sharing a cage with him while they wait for new homes.
Annabella
Annabella is an adult spayed female cat who came to the shelter last summer
with a litter of kittens. She is a very mellow and loving cat who would fit
in well in any home. She has tested negative for feline leukemia and had her
rabies shot. Annabella would be happy to have a chance to keep your lap warm
this winter!
Selena
Selena is a pretty and silky soft 8 month old female cat. She is very
affectionate and likes to be held. Selena is active and playful - she
especially likes to play in water in the cat room sink. She would do well in
any home and would probably enjoy playing with kids.
Muffy
Muffy is an adult spayed female Hound mix who was quite timid when she first arrived at the shelter, but is now outgoing and friendly. She is playful and goofy and fun. Muffy would be an excellent watch dog and is protective of her handler. She keeps her cage clean and is probably house trained. Muffy is looking for a new family to love.
Harriet
Harriet is an adult spayed female cat with pretty gold eyes who has been at
BCHS since March. She is a quiet cat who likes to be petted but not held.
Harriet would be an excellent pet for someone who works long hours because
she likes to be company when she is in the mood, but would not mind being
left home alone. She is fastidiously clean and would prefer a quiet home
with no children. Harriet has tested negative for feline leukemia and had
her rabies shot.
Donner, Vixen and Blitzen


Donner, Vixen, and Blitzen 5 month old kittens who have been at BCHS for
over two months and are growing up in cage here at the shelter. They are
very loving, playful kittens with lots of energy. They would love to find a
home and explore a world bigger than our cat room. Update 1-30-12 Blitzen has been adopted. Update 2-6 Vixen has been adopted.
Marie and Marcy
Marie and Marcy are pretty tortoiseshell adolescent kittens who arrived at
the shelter as babies and have grown up here. They are playful and well
socialized and love to be held and snuggled. They would love to find a new
home and see the world outside the shelter.
Miley
Miley is a pretty and friendly adult spayed female cat who came to us as a
stray from Columbia Crossroads. She is a couch potato kind of cat - not
particularly playful, would just like to sit on your lap and snuggle when
she is in the mood. Miley is a mellow kitty who would be great company for
someone who is looking for a quiet companion. Miley has tested negative for
feline leukemia and had her rabies shot.
Blue
Blue is a friendly adult spayed female cat who loves to play with toys,
cats, and people. An empty box will keep her occupied for a good long time.
She is affectionate and likes to be held. Blue has tested
negative for feline leukemia and her shots are up to date. She would be a
great addition to any family.
Iris
Iris is a calm and friendly young adult spayed female cat who is playful and
likes company. She is very affectionate and might just jump up on your
shoulder to ride around for a while as you go about your business. She has
tested negative for feline leukemia and had her rabies shot. Iris would love
to snuggle up with you in front of your Christmas tree.
Precious
Precious is a pretty adult spayed female cat who has been at the shelter since March. She is calm, quiet, and friendly. Precious does not like to be picked up, but likes to be petted. She enjoys sitting on the windowsill and lounging on a cat tree. Precious would do best in a one cat home because she is quite bossy with other cats. She has tested negative for feline leukemia. Precious would love to join your family for the holidays.
Speck

Speck is a pretty adult spayed female tortoiseshell cat. She gets along with other cats and enjoys sitting on a windowsill to watch the world outside. Speck is the kind of cat who likes to go about her business and seek attention when she is in the mood, then she is very loving and affectionate. She is quiet and very clean. Speck has tested negative for feline leukemia and her shots are up to date. Update 1-30-12: If you sit down in the cat room, Speck is likely to be the first cat to jump on your lap. She would love to go home with you and keep your lap warm this winter!
Bubba
Bubba is a friendly and playful adult neutered male cat who came to us as a stray from Sayre. He is a quiet, mellow guy who likes to lounge around on the windowsill and curl up in a chair for a nap. He has tested negative for feline leukemia and had his rabies shot.
Skitter
Skitter is a cute and playful 4 month old male kitten. He has a bubbly personality and lots of energy for jumping and pouncing. Skitter is looking for action with an owner who likes to play. He is affectionate and would love a home with kids. Update 1-30-12: Skitter is now neutered, had his rabies shot and tested negative for feline leukemia. Skitter isn't as rambunctious as he used to be and is now a resident of our free roam cat room. If you sit in the cat room, Skitter is sure to come for a visit!

Our new free-roam cat room is full of affectionate cats just waiting for a new home. All are litterbox trained, spayed or neutered, and get along with other cats. Come visit, have a seat in one of the chairs, and see which cats picks you.
