Thank you for your interest in Stray Cat Blues, Inc. (SCBI).  Our organization is a non-profit organization that provides a no-kill shelter and rescue and adoption services for abandoned and stray cats.  Volunteers with a variety of skills and interests are needed and appreciated.

   Phone volunteer for SCBI community hotline (only one day a month)

   Trapping, transporting and working with feral cats

In consideration of Stray Cat Blues, Inc. offering me this volunteer opportunity, if I become a volunteer, I agree to the following terms and conditions, intending to be bound by them:

  1. I will abide by the mission, rules, regulations, policies and programs of SCBI while I am a volunteer.
  2. I assume the risks of being bitten, scratched, injured or frightened by cats and kittens in connection with my volunteer work for SCBI. SCBI is not liable to me for any injuries, damages, liabilities, losses, judgments, costs or expenses whatsoever that I might suffer or sustain in connection with the performance of my volunteer activities for SCBI, unless they are the result of SCBI.s gross negligence or intentional misconduct. I will indemnify, defend and hold SCBI harmless from and against any claims, lawsuits, injuries, damages, losses, costs or expenses whatsoever sustained by any animal or any person in connection with my intentional misconduct or negligent performance of volunteer activities for SCBI or by breach of SCBI.s rules, regulations, policies and programs.
  3. I understand and agree that SCBI may refuse volunteer applications for any reason.
  4. I authorize my veterinarian to release to SCBI information about my veterinary records of any and all animals I own or have owned.
  5. I have accurately and truthfully completed this Volunteer Application and Agreement.
