Adoption fees are based on age, and specific
fees are listed in each dogs description on Petfinder. The adoption fee primarily
helps us offset the high costs of vetting. If within the first 2 weeks following the
adoption you decide that the dog is not compatible to your home environment, your adoption
fee will be refunded minus a $100 administration fee.Any amount over and above the
adoption fee will be issued a tax receipt.

Our process
applicators are volunteers and have work and family commitments, so each application can
take up to two to three weeks to process. We try to find the best home for each dog,
so filling out an application does not mean that you will be automatically guaranteed the
specified dog.
