We are always in need and looking for volunteers to help us help the animals.  We have many different areas where you could help us!  We try to match up your interests and ability with areas where we need help.  Here are a few examples:

Do you love animals and want to work directly with them?

We greatly need volunteers to help us with the daily care of our animals.  These animals need to be fed, watered, walked, socialized with other animals and with people, too!

Are you good working with people?

We need help with planning and participating at events.  We have participated in a variety of public events such as BarkPark, Johnstown Holiday Homecoming, and Pooch Parade.  We also hold an annual Epicurean Event and Auction with wonderful food prepared by local chef Tami Cecil.

Are you good at understanding bureaucratic red tape?

How about helping us research and apply for much needed grant money?
