The Second Chance Humane Society is a 501c3 non profit all volunteer organization created to help the many abandoned pets (primarily dogs and cats)  in our area find shelter and new forever homes.  At this time, we do not have a shelter, so we foster our animals in private homes.  Most of our animals have been found by good Samaritans who bring them to us, or from pet owners who need to surrender their pets for various reasons. 

Each animal in our care receives a thorough vet examinations and any vet services needed to ensure good health.  Each is also evaluated for temperament  to help us determine the best possible home situation and if any behavior modification and/or training is needed prior to adoption.
