CockerPals began as a small internet based rescue which has grown to have supporters, contacts, and adopters nationwide. Without Joan Morrett at the "helm", none of this would be possible. She is our driving force and her love and dedication inspires each of us to join her in her plight. Joan never turns away a dog in need. Her devotion and love are never ending.
Each year since August 2006, CockerPals Rescue has a reunion picnic weekend in upstate NY. One of our members generously opens her home for this occasion. On average we have 25 humans and 45 cocker spaniels in attendance. Most of these cocker spaniels were adopted through CockerPals and Joan beams with love and pride to see each of her "babies" once again, for each one carries a piece of Joan's heart forever.
Our 2009 CockerPals annual picnic was dedictated to CockerPals Rescue 10 year Anniversary! All attenees wore blue tee shirts with the CockerPals 10th Anniversary Logo on them. All dogs in attendance wore Scarves with the Anniversary Logo on them as well.
Thanks for visiting our web site and stop back often! There are continuous updates featuring dogs available for adoption, Happy Tails for those who are adopted, and our ongoing fundraisers, affiliates shopping page and so much more.
Please join us in congratulating Joan and CockerPals for 10 years of dedicated rescue work!
