Contributions for the Beth Petronis Feline House
We all lost a dear friend in the animal world.
Beth Petronis was a dear friend to the animals and to Watermelon Mountain Ranch Animal Center.
Beth spent countless hours helping our feline friends in need especially the "bottle babies"
who she took care of around the clock. When they had no mother to feed them, they could count on Beth.
She saved so many of their little precious lives and touched ours along the way.

Watermelon Mountain Ranch Animal Center would like to construct the Beth Petronis
Feline House at the Ranch. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that funds go to help the animals.
If you would like to contribute to this lasting testament that would have delighted Beth
you may send a check with a note stating that it is to be used for The Beth Petronis Feline House.
If you wish to make a your contribution on your credit card, please
contact us at 505 980-6354 or go to the PayPal section on this page.
We thank you for you contribution and we offer our condolences to the family
members and friends of Beth.
She will be missed greatly by all.

Donate a Bed!

Paycheck Services (and much more!)
Help Watermelon Mountain Ranch and your business at the same time! Click on the Paychex logo below and see all of the great services they provide.

When you're ready to sign up, please don't do it online. Instead, call Tracy at (505) 506-5790. She will visit you and show you the various ways Paychex can help you. Tell her we referred you, and when you sign up they'll give us the referral credit. We've been using their paycheck and Workman's Comp service for two years and it's taken quite a load off of our accountant.

Here are some of the ways your tax-deductible donation can help.

Don's Angel Fund
A special fund for injured or sick animals, set up in memory of Don Johnson, a beloved Animal Control Officer in Sandoval County. Please tell us if you would like your donation to be applied to Don's Fund.

Sponsor spay/neuter
Your contribution can helps defray the cost of sterilization for a Watermelon Mountain Ranch adoptable pet. Spay/neuter is essential for addressing the problem of pet overpopulation and the needless suffering it causes.

Special Needs Animal
Tootsie Roll was found tethered and bleeding, used to attract coyotes. Angela's small body was covered with tumors. These are just two of the dogs that we at Watermelon Mountain Ranch have been able to help. Medical costs for special needs animals are high and, often, lengthy follow-up care and rehabilitation are required. Your donation can help to cover medical costs and care.Click Here for more info.

Shop at Albertsons

As you may know, Albertsons changed their Community Partners program when they eliminated the Preferred Savings Card. We are happy to report that we have received the new "keyring" cards. If you would like to help us by having one to present when you're shopping at Albertsons, call Jim at 771-0140 weekdays 11AM-5PM. He'll mail you two cards. Thanks!

Give the Gift of Time
Do you love animals, but don't know the best way to help them? If so, we'd love to have you join us as a volunteer! If you can donate a few hours a week, it would mean a lot to cats and dogs looking for homes. Our volunteer page provides descriptions of the kinds of help we need. Click Here

Other Planned Gifts
You can design a gift that helps homeless cats and dogs and that also helps to meet your financial and tax planning goals. You can name Watermelon Mountain Ranch as the beneficiary of your pension, IRA, 401(k), or other retirement plan. By doing so, you could avoid the possible double taxation on retirement plan assets left to your heirs. You might consider naming Watermelon Mountain Ranch as owner and beneficiary (or co-beneficiary) of a life insurance policy. Gifts of stock, other securities, or real estate can also be tax-advantaged ways to help homeless animals. We can assist you in finding a charitable giving plan that works for you.

Bequests and Estate Gifts
A bequest in your will or living trust is a way to create a legacy that will help homeless and unwanted animals into the future. A bequest, naming Watermelon Mountain Ranch as a direct beneficiary, may take several forms. It can be a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder of your estate after expenses and gifts to loved ones. Bequests can include cash, securities, real estate, and personal property, such as valuable collections, art, or jewelry. If you would like to ensure a brighter future for animals through planned giving,
please contact:

We would be happy to arrange a legacy consultation free of charge.
