Directions:

The Ranch is located off of Hwy 528 (Rio Rancho Blvd) and Iris Road at the intersection of Progress Blvd and Westphalia Blvd. There is no "usable" street address - the directions below are the only reliable way to get to the Ranch.

From the south on Hwy 528:
Go north on Hwy 528, about 6 miles north of Intel to Iris Rd. Note that you will pass Southern, Northern, and Corrales Road. Turn left (west) on Iris Rd. Follow Iris to the second stop sign, where it reaches Paseo del Volcan (approximately 2.5 miles) - and turn right onto the dirt road (the sign says Iris Road - if there is a "Road Closed" sign just drive around it). Just ahead on the left you'll see a "Watermelon Mountain Ranch Straight Ahead" sign. Continue going straight to the next intersection then turn left. One more mile and you'll be at the Ranch.

From the north (Bernalillo) take Hwy 528 south to Idalia, turn right. Go about 2 miles, turn right at the first stop sign (Iris Rd). At the next stop sign, turn right onto the dirt road (see above).

From the west (Unser) take Unser to Paseo del Volcan and turn to the east. Go about 4 miles and continue going straight when it changes to dirt (see above).

4WD is advised after heavy rain.

Please contact the Ranch directly if you need assistance with navigation:
