VOLUNTEER    ELIGIBILITY

 

  • You be 18 years old or older to be an adult volunteer

 

  • Junior Volunteers between 14 and 18 years old may volunteer at the shelter unsupervised once they have completed the volunteer orientation.

 

  •  Junior Volunteers between under 14 years old may volunteer at the shelter as long as they are supervised by a parent or guardian once they have both completed the volunteer orientation.

 

  • You must attend the Volunteer Orientation Program, which is one Saturday for approximately 3 hours, at the shelter.

 

  •  Willingness to accept guidance of the Volunteer Coordinator and other staff members.

 

  • A love of animals that compels you to help the CCSPCA further is mission: to provide care for and prevent cruelty to all living creatures.
