The Staff & Board of Trustees at the Cumberland County SPCA regret
to inform you of the passing of our former director Linda Catalano.
Linda passed on August 20, 2008 after a short battle with cancer.
She was a true inspiration to everyone in the animal field, as well
as everyone she came in contact with. Linda will be missed dearly by
the staff, who over the years became like family with Linda. She was
a second mother to all of us, and we loved and cared for her as
well.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family, especially
her loving and devoted husband Jimmy and best friend Roseanne.

We'd
like to take a moment and apologize to those of you here on the
website. The site itself and the list of pets available for adoption
have not been updated as frequently as normal lately. Our building
was hit by lightning and our computers were damaged, and so we've
been unable to maintain our online presence as well recently. We
have managed to fix a few of the issues, and are working to get the
rest of the complications resolved so that we can get back to fully
functional. In the meantime, thank you for your patience and
understanding.
We would like to extend an open
invitation to you for our 3rd annual Pet-a-Palooza animal carnival.
If you have items for sale (from tupperware to animal products) or
animals for adoption we would love to have you attend our carnival.

something you didn't know, or improve the life of a homeless
animal or two while you're here. Some of the pages on this site are filled with photos and can
take a few extra seconds to load....please be patient. We've
tried to use the photos we feel are necessary to express a point
or those that would be most interesting to you.
We hope you find your visit with us online to be an enjoyable
one, and we'd love to have you stop by and visit us in person.
