 CCSPCA 2009 DOG OF THE YEAR?

WHISPER

We adopted our Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Whisper, at CCSPCA on June 20,2008.  Whisper was rescued from an over crowded kennel where she had been trained to be a Service Dog for people who are hearing-impaired. This means that Whisper will let us know when the tea kettle is whistling, just in case we don’t hear it! She enjoys meeting new people, playing with squeaky toys, riding in the car and taking long walks at Parvins State Park. After her walks, she comes home to chase after tennis balls in the backyard with her dog buddies, Red and Thunder.  Whisper usually gets out of bed around 12:00pm, except on Tuesdays. This is the morning she volunteers as a Therapy Dog for South Jersey Healthcare Hospice Care.  She is always happy to visit with the patients and receive belly rubs from the Hospice Care Staff. Whisper is funny, sweet, loving, and wonderful.
