CCSPCA 2009 DOG OF THE YEAR?

SMITTY

I wanted more in my life, so, I decided to volunteer at the CCSPCA, and that is where I met my Smitty!!! We had to do an orientation and Smitty was brought out to show us how to harness and collar each animal, so, Michelle asked us “Who wanted to walk Smitty.” Of Course I looked at him and said “I will”! I then went home and couldn’t stop thinking how cute, loving and affectionate he was. One week went by and I called Michelle to see how Smitty was doing and if he was still there. They had a lot of dogs come in that day, so, I asked if I could foster Smitty so they could have a kennel open for another animal. After the week went by, I knew in my heart that HE WAS FOR ME!!!! He has been with me ever since and has filled my life with so much Love and Care. When I look in his eyes I see his Love Back For Me!!!
