| A Day in the Life of an SPCA Cruelty Investigator | ||
|
CAUTION: The following video may be disturbing to some. The photos have not been retouched in any way, and are the actual case photos from investigations conducted in our county during the last 3 years. Obviously we cannot fit all of the photos, but this just a glimpse into a day in the life of an investigator - these are the animals and images they see daily. These images also at times are seared into their memory, and haunt them regularly. They celebrate those they saved, and mourn for those that couldn't be saved in time. Please take a minute and let the video load - it's well worth it to the animals that you see this. Once the frame below turns black, simply roll your mouse across the frame to start the video.
Disturbed by these images? So are we. With your help, our investigations team can help save the lives of many others out there in need of emergency care. Please become a member of the Cumberland County SPCA right now, or make a donation of any amount and know that you are changing the lives of abused, neglected, and homeless animals. Make 2008 a better year for animals - they need your help. Help us stop the abuse you've just witnessed.
