Welcome!

Jackson and Julius were both rescued by PAN in 2007

Thank you for stopping by to learn more about Pet Adoption Network.   We recently celebrated our 15th anniversary in January of 2008! Through the years we have rescued, placed, spayed, neutered, and otherwise assisted nearly 10,000 cats, dogs, bunnies and ferrets.

Before you continue looking through our site, we have a few requests on behalf of the animals. Please spay and neuter your pets. There are already many more pets in the world than there are homes available for them, and millions of lovable dogs and cats are destroyed in shelters around the world every year. Please seriously consider adopting rather than buying a pet. The majority of animals end up in shelters not because there is anything wrong with them, but because their owners had problems and could no longer care for them.. There are many wonderful pets to be found through rescue groups and shelters. Please, if you decide you must buy a dog, do not even consider a pet store or puppy outlet. There is information on this web site on how to responsibly buy a puppy- see the Adopting and Buying guide. But a picture is worth a thousand words, and we will let the hopeful, trusting faces of the homeless animals on this web site speak for themselves.

We hope you will take some time to look around our site.  We have pets looking for a home, some great photos and stories about animals we have rescued in the past, information about adopting, volunteering and donating, feral cat assistance, our pet sitting service, how to contact us, and more.
