How to Adopt a Pet:

• Fill out an Adoption Form

• Provide identification (driver's license)

• If you rent proof that you may have a pet at your residence (bring your lease)

• If you own your home (bring mortgage statement, or tax bill)

• After you have been aproved (may take up to a few days)

• Bring a cat carier when adopting a cat

• Bring a leash when adopting a Dog

Vacinations:

• All dogs and puppies are vaccinated against DA2PPV, Bordetella (kennel cough), and Rabies (if they are over 3 months of age).

• They are also heartworm-tested negative, spayed or neutered, and de-wormed prior to their adoption.

• All cats and kittens are vaccinated against FVRCP-C and Rabies (if they are over 3 months of age).

• They are also Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS negative, spayed or neutered (only if old enough), and de-wormed prior to their adoption.

• FOWA requires that all new adopters agree to spay or neuter ANY animal that is too young
  to be fixed prior to adoption.
