As part of our fundraising, Delaware Valley Bichon Rescue is offering the opportunity to sponsor a specific dog in our rescue program. For $25, sponsors get their name listed on this website, a biography and autographed, color picture of "their dog" along with a sponsorship certificate mailed to them. Sponsors will also receive a letter once their dog has been successfully placed in a permanent home. Sponsorships make GREAT gifts too! For your bichon-loving friends!

	Cammy When Cammy arrived he was blind. His family neglected to tell us this until they arrived with him! He has had cataract surgery and now HE CAN SEE, but despite our requests his family has sent NOTHING to help offset the costs of this surgery. Cataract surgery was performed on both eyes, and then an additional surgery was performed in an attempt to prevent Cammy's retina from detaching due to some complications. Altogether these surgeries totalled over $2,500.00. He also needs eye drops three times a day. In addition, Cammy is diabetic and requires medication twice a day. Cammy's doing great and still looking for his ideal family! We are still paying for his surgeries & ongoing expenses.

	Baby Baby is an 11 y/o bichon who has been in foster care a little over a year. Recently Baby had to undergo surgery for a torn cruciate ligament. This is an extremely painful condition that cannot be ignored. He's recuperating now, still looking for his perfect family, and is a great little guy! Baby's cruciate ligament surgery cost the rescue about $1,500.00. Click on Baby's photo to read more about him.

	BJ BJ is a 6 yr. old female whose family told us she had a urinary tract infection and just needed to finish up her antibiotic. It turned out that BJ had bladder stones and required surgery. One HUGE bladder stone was removed. BJ's surgery cost DVBR about $1,000.00 and we are still paying for that surgery. BJ is now looking for her perfect family.
