2007 Rescue Reunion

Delaware Valley Bichon Rescue's annual reunion and "bichon blitz" was a GREAT success. This was our biggest year, with over 100 PEOPLE and about the same number of BICHONS in attendance. Aside from being very HOT, the weather cooperated and it was a magnificent day! Special monogrammed bandanas were made for each four-legged guest. We forgot about the two-legged ones. They had to fend for themselves.

Our annual raffle raised nearly $800. Sales of bichon-related merchandise such as t-shirts, hats, tote bags & other items raised over $400. We had a 50/50 which raised $91 and a "spare change" collection which raised $146.

While fundraising is NOT the main thrust of the day we were thrilled that after all the donations were counted, the rescue had taken in about $2,000.00 thanks to all our generous guests! BUT, the best part of the day is the fun that is had by all in attendance. It's a day for visiting with old friends and making some new ones too. We hope you enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed the event itself! ENJOY!!!

Somebody said this was a BICHON RESCUE picnic.
Just a FRACTION of the guests that were present...but it's the closest thing we have to a group shot this year!
