Directions
Getting your pet spayed/neutered at our clinic requires 2 visits. The first is for a preoperative exam and the second is for the surgery. You bring your pet to our clinic for a preoperative exam on any Tuesday night between 5pm and 7:30pm or on any Saturday morning from 9am until 12:30pm. The initial exam is done on a first-come first-served basis. At the time of the preoperative exam, you will make an appointment for the surgery. On the day of surgery, you will bring your pet to our clinic between 8 and 8:30 am, and pick him/her up between 5 and 5:30 pm. Pets do not stay overnight at our clinic.
Your pet will receive a distemper shot on the day of the preoperative exam. Your pet will receive a rabies vaccine on the day of the surgery. If your pet is not due for these vaccines, please inform the clinic personnel at the time of the preoperative exam. It is very important that your pet should not eat or drink after 10pm on the day before surgery. You MUST reschedule if your pet eats or drinks anything after 10pm.
Cats MUST arrive in individual carriers and dogs MUST be on leashes. Otherwise you will be required to purchase these items at our clinic.
