Medical supplies- We hope to someday have a surgical center at the Central Nebraska Humane Society, and we will need all the medical supplies we can get.  If you would like to know more about the surgical center or about any items we have listed please give us a call at 308-385-5305.  We will be happy to answer any of your questions and Thank you for thinking of the Central Nebraska Humane Society.

We are currently in need of:

• Floppy discs
• Paper towels
• Laundry supplies; bleach and liquid soap
• Rubber Gloves(used for washing dishes)
• Clear plastic totes
• Trash bags; sizes 13 gal, 33gal, 39 gal, 44 gal, 50 gal
• Prepaid gas cards (for volunteers doing Rescue transfers)
• Gift cards from hardware/feed stores
• Ziploc Bags; sandwich size and 1 qt. size
• AA and AAA Batteries
• Stop watches (used for pet training)
• Video camera (used for taping behavior assessments and Animal Control Officers for use in abuse, neglect or cruelty cases)
• Canned chicken or Vienna sausages(for training shy animals)
• TV/DVD Combo(we will use this for training Staff and Volunteers)
• Small CD players(to play calming music for the animals)
• Tools (socket set Standard or Metric, screw drivers, pliers, hammers, drill and drill bits.)
• KMR Kitten Milk Replacer
• Esbilac Puppy Milk Replacer
• Kitten Chow (we use this for our kittens)
• Clumping litter (for our foster parents)
• Heating pads (for our sick bay, land for our new litters who need some warmth)
• Blankets, towels and sheets
• Pet Shampoo
• Dag and Cat treats
• Dog and Cat toys
• Leashes and Collars (for Adopt a Pet Events)
• Pine Bedding (for pocket pets)
• And of course, cash contributions are always appreciated!
