NCSHAR is a North Carolina based Siberian Husky Rescue and Education effort staffed by volunteers from across the state. We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome Siberian Huskies, and provide education on their care and needs to the people who love them. NCSHAR serves all of NC, and parts of SC, VA, WV, TN, and GA.

To assist Local, County and State government agencies with the Rescue and Placement of Homeless Siberian Huskies. To assist the general public with re-homing unwanted Siberian Huskies. To provide an Education Outreach Program to teach the general public about the care, needs, training, and nurturing of Siberian Huskies, and dogs in general. To promote spaying, neutering, proper vet care, and appropriate daily care and love for all pets.

We are always in need of new foster homes. If you think a Siberian would fit into your home, and you have room in your heart to help save a life - fostering may be for you! Foster dogs need a lot of love, and a little training, ok - some need more training than others! All rescue dogs are spayed or neutered, and receive any other medical treatment they need. They are then ready to move into their foster home - for work on house, manners, and leash training, good food, and a lots of Love. Foster families are very important to the physical and mental health of our Rescued Siberians. Contact us for more information on becoming a foster parent.
Where do we get our money to help all these wonderful Siberians? From fund raisers, Ebay Auctions, bake sales, yard sales, and donations from caring folks like you! If you would like to help with a donation you can mail it to :
NCSHAR PO Box 356 Seagrove NC 27341-0356,
or at Paypal.com using email address carolinasibes@yahoo.com.
We are also always in need of donations of food, treats, toys, towels & blankets (gently used are fine!) Kennels and crates (new or used). For information on donating these items, just contact us!

We carefully screen all applicants for adoption - we want the next home our foster dogs go into to be their FOREVER home! You will need to fill out an adoption application.
There is an adoption fee, which is used to offset some of the medical costs and daily needs of our fosters. Fees are as follows -
Puppies, under 9 months $225.00
Adults $175.00
Seniors (over 6 years) $100.00
Siberians of Mixed Heritage $100.00
