There
are many reasons to adopt a senior cat. The older cats are more laid
back which makes
them wonderful company - some of them still play like kittens but are
not nearly as messy. These senior cats still have many years of
love and affection to provide their potential owners - some are less than 9yo and some are in their mid-teens. Because
senior cats are much harder to adopt, many have been in our shelter for
more than 3
years (some for their entire lives!) and may have come here feral but
now are loving and sweet and
deserve a home. They are far more grateful to be adopted
and by adopting a senior cat you are really saving a life. If you adopt a senior cat featured on this page, we will discount the regular $80 adoption fee to $40.
It cuts our positive cash flow some, but we want these cats to
live the rest of their lives in a good home, and it will give us more
room to take in more cats and effectively save more lives.
Please consider giving one of these marvelous
cats a home for life. Check them out on our petfinder
Search-for-a-Cat page or call and ask us about their personalities.
