HOW TO FIND CATMAN2
AT THE NEW SHELTER

From Rt. 107…..About one mile South of Western Carolina University turn right onto Cullowhee Mt. Road. Pass the new Jackson County Recreation Center. About one and a half miles from Rt. 107 the road will fork. There is a sign.  “Narrow Bridge” Do not cross the bridge, take the right fork. There will be a small white church (Cullowhee Baptist Church) and a stone house to your right. As you pass the stone house there will be another right fork just past the stone house. Turn right again. You are now on Bo Cove Road. Go one half mile. You will see some green buildings ahead on your left. A red barn will be on the right. As you pass the green buildings (left) you will see a white mail box and a white newspaper holder on your left.  Turn left into the driveway between two large trees. A sign on one tree reads, “TABBY ROAD”  The large green building is the cat shelter. Come in the gate and ring the door bell. No answer? If you have a cell phone call 293 0892 to say you have arrived. Some phones will not work. If all else fails come up the upper drive to the white house where we live.

     Follow Route 64 to the crossroads in CASHIERS. Then take Highway  107 North toward Sylva.. From 64 turn right if going west. Turn left if going east.

     Follow 107 north for about 20 miles. Stay on the main road. Do not follow signs to Cullowhee.  You will soon come to a traffic light. (The only one after you leave Cashiers) At that light turn left onto Cullowhee Mt. Road and follow directions above.

From I-40, take Exit 27 (Clyde Exit) and follow signs to Waynesville and Sylva, you are on Hwys 23/74, then  take Exit 85.  After you have exited you will pass a hospital. Continue for about ¾ of a mile and you will reach a stoplight where you must turn either left or right. Turn left to Cullowhee and the University. You are now on 107 going south. Go past the University and follow the directions from Cullowhee above.

If you are coming North from Georgia or Franklin, NC  Follow 441 North over the mountain. You will come to Rt. 116  Follow Rt. 116 through Webster until you come to Highway 107. Ingles will be on your right. Turn right on 107 and travel past Western Carolina University. Follow directions above…

 When you reach Rt. 441 which runs into 74/23  follow the 4 lane to the Sylva Exit (Exit 85)  From there follow directions “On I-40  Above.
