CHRISTMAS IN JULY AUCTION
THE LAST WEEKEND IN JULY
The Christmas in July Auction is our largest fund raising event of the year. This year I want to make it even bigger. I will try to get items well in advance of the date so I will be able to print an auction catalog that will be used at the event, posted around town, and will also be on my web page. This way people will be able to bid on line. The highest bids will be taken to the auction. If a higher bid isn’t made there, the on-line bidder will win. Small items, such as gift certificates and services, will be mailed. The buyer must pick up large items, or they could be shipped at the buyer’s cost. There is no buyer’s premium at this auction. What you bid is what you will pay, if you are the highest bidder.
Please consider donating an item for the auction. We need small items. We cannot deal with large furniture. Items may be new or used. Antiques are good. Paintings and prints, usually, do not bring their value. Articles of clothing are not needed. If you are in doubt, contact me, and we will discuss the item.
Anyone can bid on items. All items will be sold to the highest bidder. A small reserve might be allowed on small items like rings.
