Rabbit Sponsors

Rabbit sponsorship helps buns in foster care. We foster three different types of rabbits: Adoptable rabbits are ready (or nearly ready) for their own wonderful, permanent home. Special Needs rabbits have medical or other conditions that require an adoptive parent who is experienced in rabbit care. Sanctuary rabbits are those buns who will, because of medical or other conditions, spend the remainder of their lives in a foster home where they are are able to maintain a comfortable and "quality of life" happiness with appropriate care.

When you sponsor a rabbit, your money goes for his/her upkeep each month at their foster home. If you have seen "costs of adopting and maintaining a rabbit," then you understand how costs can multiply at a foster home with multiple rabbits, maintaining the buns at their own expense.

To sponsor a rabbit in sanctuary or foster care, please send the name of the rabbit and a check for $25 for one month (made out to Missouri HRS) to "Bunny Sponsorship, P.O. Box 6362, Chesterfield, Missouri 63006".

Your name will be seen on the Bunny's page on Petfinder as "this rabbit sponsored in the month of month by your name here." You can also sponsor a bun in memory of others.
