HELP US MATCH AN ENDOWMENT FUND CHALLENGE! We have great news! We have been given the opportunity again
to add to our endowment fund. But we have a deadline of May 31. The same
anonymous donor who gave us money the past two years is
repeating the offer. The donor just gave $3,000 to the fund and offers to
add another $3,000 if our chapter matches the offer by raising $3,000 in
donations by May 31. Because of your contributions, both large and small, our
chapter was able to match the donor's offer last year . Can we do it again? Can we meet the May 31
deadline? Please consider mailing a check to House Rabbit Society of
Missouri, PO Box 6362, Chesterfield, MO 63006-6362. Write "matching
contribution" on your check. Donations are tax-deductible. Thanks so much
for helping the bunnies! The endowment fund is important to our chapter
because it's like a savings account. Income earned from the account can be
used for daily operation, such as veterinary bills. We will follow with
updates to let you know how close we are getting to the $3,000 mark!

WANTED: FRIENDLY
VOLUNTEERS, extensive bunny knowledge not necessary. We need people to
talk to the public at our educational tables. We need salespeople. We need
people to staff the "Bunny Rest Station." We need people to demonstrate
the Furminator. No preference? We'll find a spot for you! Here's a
benefit for volunteering: You can bring your bunny for photographs and
he/she can relax in the Bunny Rest Station while you work. (The public
gets preference for the rest pens but we will have several). On Saturday,
June 7, we need lots of people, starting at 4pm, to set up the Expo at the
Humane Society. We need a few people at the storage locker earlier
Saturday (time to be arranged) to load Expo stuff into a U-Haul. On
Sunday, June 8, we need lots of people at 4pm to tear
down. Please e-mail us at mo_hrs@hotmail.com. Let us know what time
you would be interested in working.

muscles & truck or van needed. We need to swap the
contents of two storage lockers at Storage Banc on the frontage road of
I-44, east of Bowles Avenue, Fenton.Missouri. Please e-mail us if

PetsMart Adoption Program - ILLINOIS HELPERS NEEDED, TOO. Missouri House Rabbit Society has teamed
with PetSmart to provide information and adoption applications to those
wishing to adopt a companion pet rabbit. If you are interested in a pet
rabbit, stop by PetSmart, Sunset Hills, the 2nd Sunday of each month, or
PetSmart, Promenade, Brentwood the 3rd Sunday of each month to speak to a
MO HRS volunteer, pick up an application, and see a few bunnies on
display. We are also searching for volunteers who would be willing to help
at a PetsMart location in Illinois (possibly O'Fallon).
Bunnies in need. WE DESPERATELY NEED FOSTER HOMES. There are now OVER 200 FOSTER BUNNIES needing homes as well as additional bunnies at the shelters that can't be rescued and face a "short" future due to lack of foster space. Any bunny parent who might consider fostering, please get in touch with MO HRS. There are many bunnies who would appreciate it.
