Successful Adoptions |
A majority of adoptions go well at the GCHS. Not sure if adopting is right for you? Maybe some of
our past adopters can change your mind:

"Chubs is very lovable, friendly, learns fast, and is playful with the older dog Ginger. Knows when I need a hug.
It seems strange as Chubs was our sons nickname after his accident.
I took Chubs out to our sons grave one day. Chubs came up to me and laid his head on our sons head stone.
I stayed there. To me this was special. He has made it knowns that he is my dog.
Thank you so much for this special dog." Pam K. (Chubs adopted out July 2005.) |
"Everything is going very well with the pet family.
When I take Monty to the Farm, I don't even take the leash with us.
He stays by the house and out buildings and likes to sit on their deck, and he enjoys the two-mile walks with Maria and Dan if he has time.
The Beagle in this picture looks like our Lucky (and probably sounds like him too.)
We have had four successful [adoptions] in our family.
Have a Great Week." Janet, Monty and Lucky. (Adopted Monty Spring 2005) |
"Things are going wonderful with Grey Paws! The kids love her and yes, Morgan became very
attached to the kitty. Grey Paws now has another name, "Fuzz ball" or "Fuzzy" for short! :)
Fuzzy is also getting along well with our other cat Sunkist.
This morning Fuzzy was chasing Sunkist aroung the living room!
Sunkist, our other cat, was adopted in Pope county.
To tell you the truth, both Sunkist and Fuzzy are such blessings!" Andrea P. (Adopted Grey Paws Fall 2004)
